Honey Sriracha Chicken
Friday Night Clean Dinner!
2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 medium to large garlic clove minced
1 tablespoon of organic honey
1/2 table spoon of sriracha (make sure you read the labels…some sriracha contains high fructose corn syrup! But, there are so many clean alternatives out there for sriracha)
1 teaspoon of coconut aminos
1/2 juice of small lime
1 tablespoon of avocado oil
Sliced green onion and lime wedges to serve
In bowl, mix together garlic, honey, sriracha, coconut aminos, and lime juice.
Save about a teaspoon of mixture for basting
Add chicken to mixture in bowl and marinate in fridge for 30 minutes
Heat avocado oil in skillet on medium high, and add chicken
Flip chicken when about half-way cooked through, then baste the chicken with the mixture you saved earlier
Cover, and continue cooking until chicken is cooked through and no longer pink in the middle
Garnish with green onion slices and lime juice/wedges
